On Sunday, the provincial capital, Lahore was placed second among the world’s top five cities with poor air quality.

According to air pollution data given by the US Air Quality Index, India’s Delhi is first, Kyrgyzstan’s Bishkek is third, India’s Kolkata is fourth, and China’s Beijing is fifth.

The city received a particle matter (PM) rating of 188, placing it in the “unhealthy” air quality category.
