On Thursday, the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) took charge of the 38-acre Askari Park. As per the directions of the Supreme Court, military authorities handed over the possession of the park to the municipal agency. The apex court, on Dec 27, 2021, had directed the military-controlled administration to hand over the park to the KMC in two weeks.
