Paris: On Dec 7, French RTL radio reported that one of the suspected assassins of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was arrested at the Roissy airport near Paris as he was about to board a flight to Riyadh. It also said the person arrested was a former Royal Guard of Saudi Arabia who was speculated to have been implicated in the killing of Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in October 2018.
