On Thursday, it emerged that the Islamabad High Court (IHC) would hear the petition to disqualify former premier Imran Khan for not disclosing his alleged daughter Tyrian in the ECP nomination papers on November 21. The newly appointed IHC Chief Justice Amir Farooq heard the petition of a citizen Muhammad Sajid against Khan. The petitioner claimed that Khan did not mention his daughter in the nomination papers and hid the information. He also requested the court to disqualify Khan as a Member of the National Assembly for lying in the nomination papers under Article 62(1) F of the Constitution of Pakistan.
