The Israeli army said that a large number of troops were on border with Lebanon and were ready to confront Hezbollah. “Yesterday, Hezbollah carried out several missile launches, with Iranian direction and support, in an attempt to divert our attention from operational efforts in the south, thereby exposing Lebanon and its citizens to danger,” military spokesman Avichai Adraee wrote on X. “We have strengthened our forces and responded aggressively and with determination against every attack carried out against us. If Hezbollah miscalculated,
the response would be deadly,” it said.
