Baghdad: Iraq’s Supreme Court has rejected appeals against the results of the parliamentary election. The appeal was lodged by Iran-backed Shi’ite groups, to topple the vote in which they performed poorly. The Iran-backed groups had alleged oddities in the Oct. 10 ballot.
