Islamabad: It emerged on Thursday that the government had decided to suspend mobile phone service for three days in the capital city ahead of a crucial meeting of the Extraordinary Session of Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Afghanistan. According to details, the mobile phone service will be discontinued for three days from tomorrow, December 17 to 19. The Interior Ministry has already issued a notification to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to shut down the mobile service.
