The special assistant to the PM on political affairs Dr. Shahbaz Gill in his Twitter message said that the federal government announced to jack up the price of petrol by Rs1.71 per liter. New prices of petroleum products are valid only for two weeks after which new prices will be declared. He also added that the price of diesel is not raised as it will take a toll on the common man and farmers.
