For the first time since October 14 last year, Pakistan’s coronavirus positivity ratio surpassed 2% in a single day, with 1,085 new infections recorded in the previous 24 hours, according to official data released Thursday morning.
The positive ratio was 2.03 percent on October 14, 2021. For the first time since October 14, daily infections have surpassed 1,000.
According to statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), fresh cases increased the positive rate to 2.32 percent, up 0.5 percent from Wednesday’s figure of 1.8 percent.
