Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi held telephonic contact with his Australian counterpart Marise Payne. According to the Foreign Office, both foreign ministers discussed issues of mutual interest, including bilateral relations and the changing situation in Afghanistan. FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Pakistan attaches special importance to bilateral relations with Australia.
