The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government banned tourism in the region for ten days due to a surge in COVID-19 cases. The home department of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir government announced a ban on tourism from 19 and 29 July. In the past few days, Azad Jammu and Kashmir witnessed the highest ratio of positive cases of COVID-19 due to which the AJK government decided to place a 10-day ban on tourism.
