Significant progress has been made in the Noor Muaddam case as suspect Zahir Jaffer in physical remand confessed to killing Noor Muqaddam. Police also discovered video evidence in which Zahir Jaffer was torturing the victim. During the investigation, the accused gave different reasons for killing Noor Muqaddam. It is reported that the victim was tortured by Zahir Jaffer before guards but none of them stopped him.
