The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is expected to provide Pakistan with an additional $2.5 billion in budgetary support in fiscal year 2022-2023 as the government seeks assistance to address a growing balance of payments crisis, according to The News.

According to the administration, $1.5-2 billion may be available in the coming fiscal year.

During a meeting with Minister of State for Finance and Revenue Dr Aisha Ghous Pasha, ADB Country Director Yong Ye revealed the funding plan.
