Israel ‘recognises no limits’ after invasion of Lebanon: Iran

Iran says Israel’s invasion and occupation of southern Lebanon are “a lesson for the region”. “Israel has enjoyed a form of impunity due to the United States’s full support, the inaction of the UN, and the indifference of European countries that claim to uphold international law and human rights,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry’s Baghaei. “Israel’s actions against Lebanon clearly violate the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. These developments once again highlight the importance of resistance and ensuring that Lebanon has the necessary capabilities to defend its sovereignty, dignity and territorial integrity,” he added.
