Iran-China ties ‘stable and based on continuous contacts’: Tehran

The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit last week brought important diplomatic achievements to Tehran, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman says. Baghaei said President Masoud Pezeshkian met the leaders of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, India, Pakistan, Russia and Azerbaijan on the sidelines of the summit. “Iran-China relations are very good, stable, and based on continuous contacts at various levels,” he said.
