Only Sixteen singer Craig Douglas dies at 85

British singer Craig Douglas, best known for his hit “Only Sixteen,” has died peacefully at home aged 85 following a short illness, his family said. Born Terence Perkins, Douglas rose to fame during the 1950s and 1960s, even outselling major stars including Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. He also appeared in the film It’s Trad, Dad! and performed at an early major Beatles show before continuing his music career.
