Fighting between Yemen’s Saudi-backed government forces and Houthi rebels killed more than 60 people on Saturday, including civilians, medical and military sources said. Government forces lost 26 troops, while the Houthis reported 31 fighters killed during clashes in southwestern Yemen. A missile strike on a bus travelling from Taiz to Aden also killed six civilians and injured seven others. The renewed violence follows the collapse of a 2022 ceasefire.
