US President Donald Trump has shared a graphic implying that the volume of oil transiting through the Strait of Hormuz is nearly back to pre-war levels. According to Trump, 20 million barrels of oil flowed through the strait daily before the US-Israel war on Iran, and about 18 million barrels per day (bpd) are flowing through now. He shared the image on his Truth Social website but did not cite any sources for the figures.
