Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has weighed in on the differences between Coke Studio Pakistan and its Indian counterpart, saying the Pakistani version has more “jaadoo” or magic. Speaking to Mirchi UAE, he praised compositions on both sides but said Indian productions rely more heavily on commercialism, while Pakistan’s platform preserves musical rawness and originality. Aslam, who recently returned with a new album after a long break, has also enjoyed major success in Bollywood.
