The European Union Aviation Safety Agency on Wednesday asked airlines not to operate within the airspace of Jordan after it and other US Gulf allies were struck by Iran in the renewed conflict. The agency last week reinstated and toughened its warning to airlines operating in the Middle East, telling them to avoid the airspace of Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and over the Gulf of Oman as the US-Iran war flared up anew.
