Iran has warned that any attack on its infrastructure will trigger a response and that Israel “will not be spared”, state media reported. Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, issued the warning on Friday as tensions with the United States and Israel remained high following recent attacks. Diplomatic efforts are continuing in parallel. Qatar has been mediating between Washington and Tehran in an attempt to prevent further escalation and keep communication channels open, The New York Times reported.
