Funeral prayers for Khamenei, family members held in Qom 

Funeral prayers for slain Iranian slain Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his four members of his family were held at the Jamkaran Mosque on the outskirts of Qom, Al Jazeera reported. Footage posted online by an Iranian news outlet news agency showed large crowds of mourners gathered at the mosque for the prayers. Khamenei’s coffin will next be taken to Iraq for further rites before his body is returned to the Iranian city of Mashhad for burial on Thursday.
