Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will attend the funeral of the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei this week. Sharif will go to Iran and Turkiye from July 3-5, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Tahir Andrabi told reporters. The 86-year old Muslim scholar, a fierce critic of the United States, was supreme leader of Iran for 36 years before he was killed on the first day of the US-Israel war on Iran on February 28.
