Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim urged US President Donald Trump on Tuesday to use his leadership to end the war in Gaza. He was speaking at the start of a milestone meeting at the UN with other Arab leaders and officials, and heads of states from other countries including Turkey and Indonesia. “If you don’t mind, on behalf of everyone, first of all, thank you very much for hosting such an important meeting, such an important time,” Sheikh Tamim said.
