The federal government has ‘summoned’ a session of the National Assembly (NA) for passage of a proposed constitutional amendment. As per details, the proposed draft for the 26th amendment in the Constitution of Pakistan will be presented before the lower house of the Parliament on October 18. Sources said the lawmakers have been directed to reach Islamabad tomorrow. While, on Monday, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the parties have reached near to a consensus over the constitutional amendments.
