In an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan tribal district, four Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyrdom in an exchange of fire with terrorists, the military’s media wing said on Friday.

Security forces conducted an IBO on the reported presence of terrorists in the region, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During the operation, the terrorists and the military engaged in a fierce gunfight, which resulted in the martyrdom of four soldiers. Havaldar Munawar, Sepoy Zaka Ullah, Sepoy Farhan, and Sepoy Sheraz were among the martyred soldiers.
