Security forces conducted an IBO on the reported presence of terrorists in the region, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During the operation, the terrorists and the military engaged in a fierce gunfight, which resulted in the martyrdom of four soldiers. Havaldar Munawar, Sepoy Zaka Ullah, Sepoy Farhan, and Sepoy Sheraz were among the martyred soldiers.
