Following the Covid-19 outbreak, the threat of dengue virus has risen to an alarming level, particularly in the provincial capital, with 385 confirmed cases reported from Lahore out of a total of 552 recorded from across Punjab in the last 24 hours. Two individuals have died as a result of the deadly illness, bringing the total number of deaths in the province to 45.
According to Punjab Secretary of Health Imran Sikandar Baloch, 552 confirmed dengue cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, with 385 cases reported from Lahore.
