Kyiv: On June 5, Russia hit Kyiv with cruise missiles fired from the Caspian Sea, striking a rail car repair facility in the Ukrainian capital. Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said that at least one person was hospitalized though no deaths were immediately reported. Ukrainian air defense shot down one incoming missile at around 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the military said.
