Berlin, Oct 17 (AFP/APP): The three men vying to lead Chancellor Angela Merkel’s CDU party go head-to-head in an online debate Saturday in a bid to revive a race that has been knocked off course by the coronavirus pandemic.
The chief of CDU, who will be chosen at a party conference in December, traditionally leads it and its smaller Bavarian sister party the CSU to the polls.
