Scientists for the first time detected a Moon-forming region around a newborn planet in another solar system. Scientists reported that orange-colored star PDS 70 is about 5 million years old and has equal mass as our sun. It is about 370 light-years away from Earth. They spotted a disk of gases and dust by ALMA in Chile’s Atacama desert.
