46 more people died due to Covid-19 in Pakistan in the past 24 hours, bringing the national death toll to 27,831, according to official statistics from the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) on Saturday morning.

The country registered 1,664 new coronavirus cases after 51,796 tests were performed over a 24-hour period, marking the seventh consecutive day that the nation reported a daily case total of fewer than 2,000.
